Artist - Deneice Keller
We recently met Artist, Deneice Keller, and
were very impressed with her drawings and paintings. So we decided to post a few of
them here for others to see, along with a little background information.
Deneice Keller:
"I was born in Butte, Montana and educated in
Ennis, Montana. I grew up on my grandfather's ranch on the Madison
River and my family's home. I began drawing about the age of 10, and am
self-taught. I won several art contests in high school and studied under
several artists during my summers, and won a fashion designing scholarship at
age 18 to the Trap Hagen School of Art & Design in New York City.
I studied under Gary Carter in West Yellowstone,
Montana, renowned for his western paintings , and under A. J. McCoy of Ennis,
world and internationally known for her portrayal of wildlife. I worked
and studied under Robert Shields in Sedona, Arizona for 5 years as a copy
artist. Robert is known as the world's most famous mime and for his unique
artistry and beadwork.
The artwork shown on this website will be
painted on Montana Agate, Montana Jasper, and Montana Petrified Wood, as well as
Brazilian Agate Slabs.
We would appreciate any input on what you
would like to see. Please watch for more specialized artwork in the
future."
